
Bellingham’s Whatcom Falls neighborhood runs north and South of Lakeway Drive. The City and County worked together to preserve 60 acres for future park and trailhead development at the end of Birch Street, known as “Lookout Mountain.” This neighborhood is home to over 2,000 Bellingham residents. Most of the area is divided equally between residential and woodlands. The main feature is the city owned park that this neighborhood gets its name sake from Whatcom Falls Park.
