Mt. Baker

A Skier/Snowboarder paradise because you most always get good snow and worse case if the snow isn’t great the weather is absolutely perfect. A lot of the runs on the mountain are black diamonds and double blacks but you can ski to the White Fish lodge and most of those runs are blue runs and up at the Heather Meadow lodge they have a magic carpet and a small bunny hill for kids or less experienced folks. What’s also great about Baker is it offers more than just the typical skiing and snowboarding there’s lots of room on the mountain for snowshoeing, sledding, and snowmobiling. Bellingham Bay

Parks

Fresh green grass inviting you for a picnic or maybe you are into old-growth forests covered with a mossy canopy. The local parks in Bellingham are worth checking out.
