This city is really going the dogs and honestly (most) Bellingham residents would jump for joy at that statement. The locals have embraced how much people here love to adore their pampered pooches. What more could we want for our canine companions, they have the great outdoors to hike and roam with their owners. There are so many dog-friendly parks and cool places to eat and have a beverage with your buddy, its easy to see that this community cherishes its furry friends. It really is a dog’s life out here.

Paws For A Beer
Paws For a Beer is Bellingham’s first and only dog-friendly tavern. Here, dogs with memberships are able to roam freely off-leash inside and outside the premises while their owners and the general 21+ public sip on refreshing beverages. They have a big covered seating area, so even though it was raining you can enjoy sitting outside. They have a great selection of beers, and a few ciders and wine too! There is a large open space with agility-like things for dogs to climb on and run through, fire hydrants, chuck-its for easy ball throwing, and gravel for easy cleanup. Its fun even if you don’t have a dog just go for free entertainment.
