Enjoy golf the way it was meant to be played in the impressive setting that is Bellingham and Whatcom County. Most of the courses here have a stunning natural atmosphere and a few include views of Mt. Baker and the San Juan Islands. Many of the courses have earned praise from major golf magazines, So, whether you’re hitting a few balls with friends or practicing for the PGA, here is a list of the golf courses ranging from links-style to forested as a choice or a combo of both.

Lake Padden Golf Course– It offers 18 holes with a driving range and putting green. This setting offers a golfing experience unlike any other with serenity, peace, and unrefined beauty.

North Bellingham Golf Course– It offers 18 holes and a driving range There are terrific views and challenging play for golfers at every skill level. The course has been designed to naturally integrate the open field qualities in addition to being tested by steady gale winds of this“Real Scottish Style Links Course.”

Shuksan Golf Club– It offers 18 holes with a driving range and putting green. The course provides eighteen distinct landscape canvases on which to paint your own masterpieces and spectacular views of Mt. Shuksan.

The Bellingham Golf and Country Club– (private course)The Bellingham Golf and Country Club offers 18 holes and has a driving range. Fairways lined with huge trees and impeccably manicured greens make this course enjoyable for players at any level.

The Sudden Valley Golf Course and Country Club-It offers 18 holes with a driving range and putting green. Fairway landing areas are relatively generous and the greens are large. The layout is so beautifully set with all the tall trees and water views. 

Loomis Trail Golf Course– It offers 18 holes with a driving range and putting green. It is the only Washington course acknowledged in the nation’s Top 100. The scenic beauty is unsurpassed and the consistently smooth, fast, true greens are the hallmarks of Loomis Trail.

Grandview Golf Course– 18 hole course.  Don’t let the low green fees fool you! The course layout is challenging and fun, with in-play water on many holes. 

Raspberry Ridge Golf Course – This 9-hole, par 34 course. There are open fairways, well-bunkered greens. Raspberry Ridge plays in about two to two and a half hours and is a great choice for any time of the year.

Homestead Farms Golf Course -It offers 18 holes with a driving range and putting green. It is the only course in Washington with a par five that plays into an island green. This is a true resort course, with wide landing areas and multiple tees.

Dakota Creek Golf Course- The course is an 18 hole (par 71)Dakota Creek Golf Course is surrounded by wilderness and it is a walk with nature with lots of natural ponds and wetlands.

Point Roberts Golf and Country Club-18 hole course. It is a bit of a challenge getting there requiring 2 border crossing each way due to its unique location

Semiahmoo Golf & Country Club – (private) 18 hole course. It was designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer. It features rolling and generous fairways, and fast, challenging greens.
