Waypoint Park
This is a very nice park the city has recently built on part of the old Georgia Pacific site. There’s a nice wide paved walking and biking path with lots of native plants. Interesting giant ball( called the Acid Ball) -it is coated with a reflective paint that apparently causes it to ‘glow’ if you flash a light at it, say from a camera on your phone. The Granary building is a beautiful, fun play area, rocky little beach, industrial charm, and a pump track.
